Performance Marketing Associate US, eCommerce, CPG

About the Job

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who is a prominent leader in the CPG Beauty. The Performance Marketing Associate’s key task is to maximize returns on advertising and promotional activities across the eCommerce channel. This role encompasses media buying across the eCommerce players such as Amazon, Walmart and Target.

Location

East Coast, US (Hybrid)

Responsibilities

1. Analyze data, think creatively and dream up innovative strategies to make sure marketing campaigns reach the right target audience in the most effective way possible.

2. Devise and implement strategies for using certain media effectively to attract and retain customers, increase brand recognition, and maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.

3. Execute the search strategy to grow the base business through search campaigns, tracking the results and proposing improvements to the campaigns and the strategy.

4. Seek for ways to conquer new territories in terms of new keywords, new campaigns, new campaigns types, etc.

5. Specifically track 1P & 3P campaigns in order to identify different trends and opportunities, optimizing not only sales but CPCs.

6. Provide search insights to the Key Account Managers and Content Managers.

7. Operative handling of the Amazon Advertising console.

8. ABVP SOV Tracker and other analysis.

9. Budget and billing control.

Ideal Experience

1. 3+ years experience with digital media buying and planning

2. Confidently execute and manage/buy all digital media campaigns across all eCommerce channels and devices

3. Strong experience specifically with AMS campaigns

4. Utilize audience targeting strategies and creative testing frameworks to improve engagement and ROAS

5. Experience troubleshooting campaign performance and delivery, utilizing data insights to develop campaign optimizations and test strategies that over-deliver on portal KPIs

6. Strong Analytical Mind Set

7. Ability to take initiative and work independently

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, e-commerce, or related field

2. Proven experience in e-commerce management, preferably in a leadership role.

3. At least 5 years of CPG / eCommerce experience preferred.

4. Experience working in a multinational environment is preferred, especially across timezones and conducting remote meetings with colleagues in different countries.

3. Passion and enthusiasm for eCommerce trends, technological innovation and digital marketing.

4. Entrepreneurial and international mindset; ability to adapt in a complex and fast changing environment by approaching unfamiliar situations, projects, and opportunities with confidence and curiosity.
